MONACO INTER-BANKS CHALLENGE

 

The Inter-Banks Challenge - ERI trophy, which was held on June 23-24 in Monaco proved to be decidedly popular with financial and banking establishments. Indeed, 15 banks registered to participate in this friendly regatta which took place over 2 days.

Each team consisted of 5 persons (75 participants in total) and the contestants were able to train during the month of May on the J24 boats made available by the Monaco Yacht Club.

The exceptional weather conditions allowed each team to courageously compete for their respective establishments. In the end, UBS Monaco claimed victory ahead of Mirabaud Gestion Privée and Barclays Bank.

It is worth noting that two of the crews had to travel in order to participate in this event. These were Aston Bank (Tessin) and SG Hambros (Jersey).
